Siralan is home of Nomad Dobrodruzstvi. Dobrodruzstvi has traveled far and wide to find a proper spot for his new settlement, and now needs your help to establish it, develop it and make it great. Dobrodruzstvi is a Nomad at heart, however, so he won’t stay in this settlement forever. Eventually, he may set out to explore again; but until then…
Your goal as a pilgrim is to help establish the new settlement that Dobrodruzstvi envisions. The world is yours, so you do not have to make your residence within the city’s lines, but you are expected to contribute to the city whether in supplies, building, or creating a store to sell things. The city begins at the spawn point. You will need to define and secure the city’s borders, as well as vote on a name for the city.
This is your opportunity to be a part of the creation of the “Central” city; to build something to be used and seen by other players. Empty storefronts are not encouraged. We will be working together in a fresh world to stretch our creative wings. Think of this as a chance to be a part of making a thriving civilization.
Siralan, as an affiliate of the Creeper’s Lab, follows the same rules. You must be registered to play, Trusted rank preferred. No movement, building or xray type mods are allowed, but things like Litematica for blueprints, and minimaps are ok. This is a SMP with co-op play at heart, however, in order to ensure peace we have a plugin which allows for land claims and protections. Some chests are not protected, though, so you are encouraged to use your creativity to keep your treasures or dropped items safe. Land claims will prevent accidentally building on someone else's property.
Because Siralan is an affiliate, and not a Creeper’s Lab world, inventories are separate.

Siralan is a not-so-vanilla world with a plethora of data packs already loaded. The purpose of the data packs are to change up the game, in both subtle and not so subtle ways. The resource packs for those requiring it are recommended for the best experience. It is noted that several of the data and resource packs are outdated, but for the most part they have been successful in testing, and should not be detrimental to any gameplay. Listed below are the data packs used with brief explanation of what it added, link to further information and whether it has a resource pack you should acquire.
The datapacks with a needed resource pack are listed first. Note that you only need to get the resource pack, not the datapack. In order to facilitate that - GroovyBanana assisted in providing this compilation of all the resource packs into one- if you wish to download all the resource packs in one click- click here, otherwise you can find a link to each resource pack to download within the information of the datapack below.
Devon’s True Survival – the biggest pack adding a bunch of features that both enhance gameplay as well as challenge it. Resource pack optional but recommended See here: https://truesurvivalmc.weebly.com/wiki.html
Dynamic Surroundings – adds an immersive sound system. Resource pack needed- and highly recommended See here: https://sites.google.com/view/jontohil2/datapacks/dynamic-surroundings Note that the datapack and resource pack are actually combined in the download, so you would need to go into the zip file after download to pull the resource pack.
Wandering Souls- adds a feature to the nether. Resource Pack needed See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/wandering-souls-3-0-1-19/
Moar Helmets – adds a handful of unique helmets to create on a special bench. Resource Pack Required See Here: https://wasdbuildteam.website/camp-datapacks/camp-helmets/ Note that this pack also includes Moar Diamonds, but doesn’t really use it
Chocolate – adds chocolate food item. Requires Resource Pack See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/chocolate-5564702/
Kitchencraft – adds a number of fun food items. Requires Resource Pack See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/kitchenpack/ Note that this is the most outdated pack. There seems to be a conflict with the Devon's True Survival pack textures, so if you use both only about half the food items display properly.
Banner Flag- crouch to attach a banner to a fence, wall, glass pane, chain, etc. and it will look like a flag! See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/banner-flags-5591137/
Date-Time-Lunar phase clock- when you hold a clock it shows in game world day, time, and lunar phase. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/date-time-and-lunar-clock/
Waystones – adds waystones that can be made for quick teleportation to locations with other waystones. Works in all dimensions. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/waystones-a-fast-way-to-travel-in-your-world-with-waypoints/
Armor statues – adds ability to customize armor stands (statues book). See here: https://hermitcraft.fandom.com/wiki/Armor_Statues_Datapack#:~:text=Armor Statues is a data,a book with clickable links
Better Loot Tables – restructured the loot tables and changed how some items drop or are made. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/better-loot-tables-mobs-structures-blocks/
Death Point – creates a barrel upon your death that stores your items, also displays coordinates of deaths. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/deathpoint-4786775/
Dungeons and Taverns – added structures you can find throughout the world. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/nova-structures/
Villages Overhauled – upgraded several village types. See here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/villages-overhauled/
Unwrecked Ships – adds ships. See here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/unwrecked-ships-datapack
Timber - turns trees to dust! See here: https://www.9minecraft.net/timber-data-pack/
More Mob Heads – mobs have a chance to drop heads. See here: https://xisumavoid.com/moremobheads/
The design of this world and gameplay is very experimental. The fundamental idea behind it was to have the chance to be a part of creating a spawn city, much like the central cities in the Creeper’s Lab worlds, when they were new. In addition, it is to give a fresh world with unique factors to change things up. That being said, the set up of this is also designed to run in “seasons”, which we will call Adventures, that will last for about a year or so, after which the world will be rebooted, with possibly new gameplay factors.
