Designing the Worlds section of the Wiki is arguably the best and most exciting part of the Wiki there is. This is a guide on adding entries to the Worlds section. In the Overview, get an idea of how Creeperpedia is set up in order to keep things as simple as possible.
Visit Tourism for guidelines on adding non-map marked locations. In addition, provides instructions on how to request map entries be made.
The Worlds section is divided up by a specific structure. This is the general.
Adding new entries to the Worlds portion of the Wiki means following this structured path when figuring out where to put your entry. There are 3 main sub paths:
Locations must be tagged very specifically. Every location must have one of each of the following categories of tags (layer, world, and type).
The Rail system is quite extensive on Laurasia. In order to properly present the information, the following format is suggested.
/worlds/laurasia/rails
In order to place a map shot in a wiki page, use the DynMap and get to the section you would like to include. The file name should be in the format "wikipagename-iso" with all appropriate dashes. Please use .jpg format as that is the smallest file size.
Select the line where you would like to include the image, and click the Folder icon on the left side of the Entry Page Icons. Upload your image using the interface on the right, then select it from the list on the left once it uploads.
Tourism pages are used for locations that do not have a Map Marker added. Please do not create duplicate tourism pages, as there may already be an entry for a spot if you are making a Tourist Guide.
Each page should be put into the appropriate world folder layout. So a tourist location in Laurasia would be:
/worlds/laurasia/tourism/location-name-here
Please follow all rules of style for the page name, including lower case only, and spaces replaced by "-". No apostrophes in the page name either.
Tags that should be added: tourism, world name, overworld or nether.
