With everything available on the Creeper's Lab, maybe you don't know what to focus on next. Or maybe the sandbox, direction-less nature of Minecraft itself leaves you without any clear idea what to play with. This pages aims to list our main play styles and attractions, hopefully giving you an idea on what to do next!
Survival is our main focus at the Creeper's Lab, running under near-vanilla settings. Start from spawn, pick a location and start digging and/or building!
If you're looking to join in to a themed area, consider the list of building sites! These areas each share a theme, many being based off old building contests. Maybe you will feel inspired by creating a forest build, a skyscraper, a ruined base or even an element of a Christmas village? See the list and get started!
The themes, guidelines and location are listed for each entry.
If you're the completionist type, did you know that we have several custom achievements to be unlocked in-game? Get started on completing them and climb the leaderboard!
We have a long list of player-built attractions, developed over time. While many are made for groups of players, such as the PvP arenas, several are also enjoyable on your own. Do you fancy going through a maze, visit a carnival or see a zoo? All this and more is waiting for you!
The science areas are located within the survival worlds and present a mix of fightning and exploration challenges. You start at the beginning (of course!), gather new tools, weapons and armor, then build up your strength and skill in order to tackle the higher tiers of challenges.
Start with the Dragon Priests in the End, the Hunter's Lodge or the Lost Woods.
There are six guilds, each found within a guildhall in the worlds of Laurasia, Rodinia, Superia and Gondwana. Their objectives are focused on mining, building, fishing, farming, blacksmithing and hunting respectively. What you have to do changes every month, each one giving you points to acquire multiple items and gradually increase your rank.
Start in Laurasia's Guildhall, in Central!
The minigames are accessible directly from the lobby. Some must be played in groups, others are to be done on your own. There is no shared inventory or ranking system, so everyone is always at the same level - only your personal skills (and sometimes luck!) matter.
All the minigames are accessible by non-registered players. Invite your friends!
Playing parkour is one thing; how about you design your own course? First, ask a staff member to give you access to the parkour creation. Then, fly around to find a free spot, and build a challenge in creative mode! When you think it's ready, get in touch with Doctacosa for review.
Kenorland features a different challenge every month. Some classics are part of the rotation, while one-off events also get scheduled once in a while.
For a change of scenery while still hanging around us, look into our affiliate servers! Accessible through the lobby, they are run by other community members with their own rules and goals.
Who are we here at Creeper's Lab? We're a bunch of different style Minecraft Players that gather here to take part in the diversity that is the Creeper's Lab. We are collectively called "Test Subjects".
Read about the different styles of play here on the Lab, and add your own style to the list!
That's okay too, sometimes the blocks don't have anything to offer to you. Stay in touch with the others through Discord or our forums!
